As we wrap up the year, we thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane to highlight 7 amazing projects that we photographed in 2024. The talented team at Neal's Design Remodel wishes you and yours a wonderful New Year, and we look forward to sharing even more remarkable projects in the year ahead!

Contemporary Office in Springboro

This modern design masterpiece is full of sleek solutions and a balanced contrasting color scheme. Hidden compartments frame the wood-accented windows, providing a clutter-free office environment that allows the custom desk to shine as a centerpiece of the room. The room also features a custom accent wall and tailor-made display shelving for a personal touch that helps the room feel warm and inviting.

Cutting Edge Kitchen in Loveland

Believe it or not, but this corner kitchen has all the functionality of even the largest kitchen projects. The key to this space-saving layout is the multi-functional island. Embedded in the Dekton countertop is an Invisacook range unit and retractable downdraft vent. The system allows the surface to be used for induction cooking while remaining safe and useable for other tasks. It's also a stunning transitional space that's chef's kiss.

Small-Scale Baths in Kenwood

What do you do when you have two bathrooms with narrow footprints? Create two stunning new bathrooms, of course! We're still enamored with this pair of bathrooms that make the absolute most out of the available space and inject a ton of character and style while doing it. These designs have a fresh, modern, and playful appeal that easily demonstrates that with the right space plan and clever design selections, even a small bath can feel like the perfect fit.

Space-Swapped Kitchen in Wyoming

52018_10

We've helped countless homeowners open up their older homes to help tucked away kitchens feel more integrated for the way we live now. Every so often, though, just removing a wall isn't enough. In this case, the best solution was to move the kitchen entirely to this centralized space, where it could take better advantage of the original features of this historic home. With an eye for historical detailing integrated in a transitional-feeling new design, this kitchen feels like it's where it was always meant to be.

Grand Outdoor Living in Montgomery

51112_02

There was something very clever about how this back yard turned into a multi-functional oasis. All it took was just a bit of excavation. By opening up the ground at the back of the house to create a level area for a new, spacious pool, it was also possible to convert the basement into a functional walk-out. This, in turn, meant that an entirely new covered outdoor living room could be created where there used to be just a crawl space. Sometimes thinking more creatively about the space you have available can yield amazing results!

Sleek White Condo in Hyde Park

51081_12

When you think of Hyde Park, you might not imagine sleek, glossy, and contemporary, but this condo kitchen remodel goes to show that regardless of where you live, your style can be what you love. The key to the all-white scheme of this design is the eye-catching white appliances, glass accents, and flat-front cabinetry that use a combination of hardware-free closures and low-profile tab pulls. We also love the mellow oak flooring for a balancing natural contrast.

Dramatic Master in East Walnut Hills

52013_05

Another older home remodel, this project reimagined two bedrooms, a small bathroom, and a collection of closets into a spacious new master suite. By rearranging the walls in the L-shaped space and retaining the existing fireplaces and window locations, this new suite creates a comfortable retreat that's as classic as it is contemporary. A mixture of gold and black finishes, along with beautiful tile and lighting make this project a stand-out.
